
Clinical Psychologist Natali Palakoglu graduated from the Department of Psychology at Bahcesehir University and received her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Yeditepe University.
During her undergraduate studies, she completed courses at Thomas More University (Antwerp) on topics such as Applied Psychology Studies in Europe and Personality Changes After Brain Damage.
She also volunteered with refugee children at the Network for Children’s Rights (Athens) and with individuals with autism in Istanbul. For her master’s thesis, she explored topics related to parent–child relationships, culture, and mate selection. During this period, she conducted psychotherapy sessions at the Yeditepe University Bagdat Caddesi Polyclinic. She also specialized in Rorschach and other projective tests, received psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and existential supervision, completed Advanced Training in Dynamic Psychotherapy, and attended the Istanbul Psychoanalysis Association’s Introduction to Psychoanalysis Conferences. In addition, she has provided psychotherapy sessions on the Heltia and It’s Complicated platforms.
She has particular experience working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, lack of motivation, family and relationship problems, trauma and loss, existential questioning, psychosomatic complaints, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and addictions. She offers individual psychotherapy sessions for adolescents and adults, both in person and online. In her sessions, she employs psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches to explore the connections between clients’ current states of mind and their past experiences and relationships, helping them to deepen their self-awareness and create a space where they can express themselves freely.
